The loan caters to the need of underprivileged women borrowers who aspire to start their business to become financially independent. Sarala provides Small enterprise loans to promising or existing entrepreneurs who require seed money or working capital funds to access the resources and start their ventures. This helps the entrepreneurs with their start-ups to enhance their capacity and efficiency. Loans are offered to merchants, retailers, service providers and similar underserved people in India’s rural and unbanked pockets.

Data Privacy Policy & Terms and Conditions

  • For the purposes data protection, the terms data processor, data principal, personal data, personal data breach, stored in the company’s systems, including Loan Origination System (LOS), Loan Management System (LMS) under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDPA”).
  • The personal data is collected only for lawful and specific purposes, processed with appropriate consent, protected through robust technical and organizational controls, and retained only for the period required by regulatory and business requirements in accordance with Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
  • This policy applies to LOS and MLS, customer mobile application, employee management system, email management system and applies to all individuals who access process, manage, or interact with the Company’s information systems and personal data.
  • Employees: All permanent, contractual, and temporary employees of the company who access or use organizational systems, applications, databases, or digital resources as part of their job responsibilities. Employees are responsible for ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and security of personal data and must comply with all IT security and data protection requirements.
  • Field Officers: Field Officers who use company-provided mobile devices, applications, or systems such as LOS, collection applications, or customer onboarding platforms for conducting business operations. Field Officers must ensure secure handling of customer data, prevent unauthorized access, and follow prescribed authentication and data protection controls.
  • IT Staff: All IT personnel, including system administrators, IT support staff, who manage and maintain, or monitor the Company’s IT infrastructure, applications, databases, and security systems. IT Staff have privileged access and are responsible for implementing and maintaining appropriate technical safeguards, access controls, monitoring mechanisms, and data protection measure.

Data Classification:

The IT department shall classify data into following categories:

Refund & Cancellation:

Payments debited through UPI AutoPay / eNACH

Any additional or excess payment made by the customer shall be refunded subject to the conditions as mentioned below:

  1. Proper request letter has to be submitted by the borrower within 72 hours of the transaction.
  2. The refund will be processed within 30 days from the date of reconciliation.

Cancellation of recurring payment mandates

Customers may cancel their UPI AutoPay or eNACH mandate at any time through the following methods:

  1. Through the UPI application used to create the mandate
  2. Through the net banking or mobile banking application of the bank
  3. By submitting a request to the Company through email or customer support

Note: Cancellation of the mandate does not cancel the loan or repayment obligation.
